Student Organization Leaders Required to Complete Online Anti-Hazing Course
Article Date

Student organization leaders on UNC Charlotte’s campus are now required to complete an anti-hazing online learning module as part of their organization’s annual registration or re-registration process. Annual registration is mandatory for all student organizations who wish to remain active in the 2021-22 academic year and all steps, including the anti-hazing course, must be completed prior to the Sept. 30 deadline.

The organization’s president, treasurer and vice president or secretary must complete “Hazing Prevention 101” found online at uncc.prevent.zone. The module should take approximately one hour and it does not have to be done in one sitting. While this is a new requirement for registered student organizations, fraternities and sororities at UNC Charlotte have been mandated to take an anti-hazing course for the last three years.

For details on how to access the module, visit Student Organizations online or email Paige Compton, Program Coordinator for Student Involvement, at pcompto2@uncc.edu.
