Student Niner Media launched its first issue of Midas Magazine in late December.
The cultural and lifestyle magazine serves as a creative outlet for designers, writers, artists and everyday students.
"Midas Magazine was created in 2020 to be a platform for UNC Charlotte student to share their authentic voices. We focus on four main areas: culture, artistry, identity and lifestyle. We seek to celebrate our stories and promote community and artistry."
Claire Hambrick, a sophomore communications major with a concentration in mass media, is editor-in-chief of the online publication.
A new edition will be published once each semester. Students who wish to get involved with Midas can email midasmagazine@uncc.edu
